Owned by WellHaven Pet Health / GoodVets (private-equity backed)
Owned by a company that runs many clinics. Clinics bought by a group often keep their original local name, so this isn't always obvious from the outside.
Private-equity firms buy businesses with investors' money, usually planning to sell them again within several years. Many vet clinics have been bought this way. It doesn't by itself say anything about the quality of care — some pet owners just want to know who owns their vet.
